Martin Walsh Architectural (MWA) has secured planning approval for a three-storey extension on behalf of Orean Personal Care, the private label cosmetic manufacturer based in Cleckheaton.
The proposed 600m2 extension, which will see additional office and laboratory space, is planned for the existing Stubs Beck Lane facility, which currently boasts a factory, warehouse, offices and laboratory.
Matt Morgan, Architectural Designer at MWA comments: “Orean is a successful business that is achieving great things. It is a key employer within Cleckheaton and recently featured in the Sunday Times Fast Track as ‘10 Ones to Watch’ for 2021.
“As a growing business, Orean simply need more space. In the short-term this will help team members to operate safely during the pandemic. Longer-term, with such ambitious plans in place, the proposed extension will future-proof the company, creating a building that works harder in providing the environment and infrastructure to grow.”
Through the planning process MWA successfully demonstrated that its design vision met with the owners needs for additional space now, and in the future.
