Hill Top Farm Planning Approved

Planning for five residential properties at Hill Top Farm in Gildersome has been approved following a successful application submitted by Martin Walsh Architectural (MWA).

Working on behalf of client Channy Basi, the development comprises of 4 and 5 bedroomed, luxury detached properties with extensive gardens and double garages.

Matt Morgan, Architectural Technologist at MWA, commented: “This is a green belt development that has been sympathetically designed to retain agricultural and rural character. These factors supported the application and were one of the key reasons for approval.

“The new build, which will replace a commercial yard and poor quality buildings, will significantly improve the look and feel of the area. Afterall, these homes epitomise luxury, in terms of the size and stature of each property and their surroundings.

“The results will be a hugely desirable residential development in a rural setting.”

Recognising that the planning request supported larger dwellings compared to a previously approved application, MWA submitted a pre-application enquiry to reduce the risk for the client.
