Martin Walsh Architectural has obtained planning permission for seven exclusive, detached dwellings at Gomersal Hall in Cleckheaton.
Working on behalf of Holroyd Miller, the two-phased construction will include the demolition of the existing house and the erection of seven detached properties of varying size with outbuildings and garages.
An enviable location, this development will consist of large, high-quality properties on extensive plots, similar to those within the surrounding area. Retaining the open nature and in line with the Gomersal Conservation area, the development will be surrounded by the existing tree belt edge and stone boundary wall.
Marcus Walsh from Martin Walsh Architectural comments: “A site of this size would traditionally yield a density of 70 dwellings. However, this exclusive development of just seven properties is sympathetic to the Gomersal Conservation Area, protected perimeter trees and high stone boundary walling.
“The vision for this site is certainly impressive and although on a small scale, it will boost the supply of homes locally in a mindful and sensitive way that will complement the area.”
