Dewsbury-based George Brooke Funeral Directors is celebrating 70 years in business, a milestone commemorated by remodelling its Chapel of Rest with support from Martin Walsh Architectural.
To meet its clients’ evolving needs, the family-owned and run organisation has invested in modernising its Chapel of Rest on Battye Street, which was the first privately owned Chapel of Rest in the area.
With a focus on modernising the premises by providing a new look for the viewing room, reception and toilets, the MWA team has helped create a warm and homely place that reflects the brand and its values. In addition, doorways have been widened to accommodate the changing shape and design of coffins, and the exterior has been landscaped to improve kerb appeal.

All works were completed in partnership with contractor SIM Fit Out.
