MWA Deliver Room For Growth At Mainline Menswear

Family-owned, RIBA chartered firm of architects, Martin Walsh Architectural (MWA), has successfully delivered a remodelled warehouse for Mainline Menswear.

Supporting the growth of the Scarborough based business that operates one clothing store and a hugely successful online retail arm, the MWA team has remodelled two newly acquired units.

MWA has delivered a high spec facility that has created ease of use and access for the business, which now operates across three units. To support this the MWA team demolished an existing two storey internal office and replaced it with a building that now houses three offices, a photography suite, a manager’s office, meeting rooms, kitchenettes and welfare area.

Matt Morgan at MWA, comments: “Mainline Menswear is a great example of a retailer that has evolved to become an ecommerce business. Growing from a small store in the seaside town of Scarborough, it is now delivering one the largest comprehensive ranges of men’s designer clothes in the UK thanks to its online presence.

“The company has experienced success at an accelerated pace and required more space to accommodate their extensive range of stock, while creating an infrastructure that can accommodate continued growth.

“Working closely with the team we have helped maximise the available space, while taking into consideration how the operation functions within and across each unit.  We have modified and refitted to meet the high standards that are consistent with the brands approach and values.”

MWA completed works in partnership with contractors Gray & Sons Ltd.
