Martin Walsh Architectural (MWA), one of the region’s leading architectural firms, has appointed Matt Morgan as Architectural Assistant, supporting the organisation’s environmental credentials and drive to design and deliver efficient and environmentally sustainable buildings.
Formerly a Technical Consultant for a wind energy developer and with a degree in Renewable Energy that included sustainable architecture and environmental management modules, Matt has significant experience from within the environmental sector.
Matt comments: “Having worked for over four years within renewables it’s easy to recognise how commercial businesses can save valuable funds, whilst also reinforcing their commitment to the environment, by adopting simple yet effective planning, design and build principles.
“I’m certainly looking forward to using my experience to add value to client projects and to the way that MWA continues to grow and develop as an environmentally sustainable business.”
As part of his role Matt will also support the business as it completes the final stages of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, streamlining processes and driving efficiency throughout the business.
