The development is all new build however the design philosophy of the scheme is the creation of a farmstead that has evolved over time and been converted for residential use.

The original buildings would have included farmhouses, workers cottages, barns, sheds and agricultural outbuildings.  These buildings are identified by their scale, architecture, detailing, materials and position.  Where appropriate the sensitive conversion and rehabilitation of buildings can be observed.
